Well, we all know that summer is finished for another year and we are back into A/W again. It can be difficult to decide on what make up to go with on a daily basis or even a big night out in these seasons!

FIRST OF ALL! Make sure you are keeping up to stratch with your daily moisturizing routine, as the A/W weather is upon us and can take alot out of your skin, no matter what skin type you are. I have dry skin and in the A/W months, I find my skin gets alot tougher and the dry patches become more apparent to the naked eye.

A good moisturizer for your skin type should do the trick to keep your skin looking the best it can.

FOUNDATION!

Think about it, with A/W comes different elements in the air and a different light, so it is no suprise that our skins colouring will look slightly different in these months compared to as it would in the summer months. The A/W will give our complexions a paler look. You might not have the money to buy a new foundation or simply don’t want to and that’s fine, just make sure to use a little more if you feel the need to.

BRONZER OR BLUSHER! 

As the light changes in the A/W time and you will appear paler, it is important that you don’t look tired and drained. Keep your blusher or bronzer (maybe both) whatever you prefer, on you at all times! Always add a little bit to your cheeks, to put that healthy glow back into your skin, It really will make all the difference.

EYES! 

The emphases will all be in the eyes. In my opinon, for the A/W, it is best to stick to matte eye shadows  Colours such as browns and golds are good . Your mascara will just depend on the way you usually like it and so will your eyeliner!

LIPS! 

As said above, you can choose to do whatever you wish with your lips, either a nude or a bold red could look good as long as you make sure you have a glow to your complexion and you will be all set. A nice lipgloss is a must have but I’m sure that’s nothing new to anyone!

BROWS!

Keep your brows strong and bold this winter, you know your own brow shape more than I do writing this without seeing, so it is difficult to say much. Just make sure to keep your brows nice and neat, a strong brow has the ability to create a whole makeup look.

The beauty trends are forever changing and it can be a nightmare trying to keep up with all the different going ons in the fashion world - with every designer showing different looks, getting bolder and braver every time but remember, just because you see it on the catwalks doesn’t mean it is a look you can wear down to the post office. Keep in mind your own look!
